I couldn't imagine a better way to celebrate my 40th birthday than at my office’s monthly First Friday meeting with the neighbors and community members whom I’ve had the pleasure of serving for the last six years. In these times, it is imperative that New York City residents are equipped with proper emergency preparedness tools to use at their disposal should they need them. That's why my office partnered with the City's Department of Emergency Management and a host of local elected officials to distribute Go-Bags.

Residents must have attended the virtual presentation during First Friday on December 4th to be eligible to receive a Go-bag at the distribution on December 10th.

You are invited to join me as we come together virtually to welcome the holiday season with a (non-political) holiday party! Performances and presentations will include:

• A reunion performance of A Christmas Carol by the New York Classical Theatre
• The Ghost All Around Us by Main Street Theatre & Dance Alliance
• Seasonal songs by Vocal Ease
• Dance and song performances by ChaShaMa

You must RSVP by Monday, December 14th to attend.
