Officials ask to lower East River Ferry ticket prices when new routes launch
“Fair ferry fares will help our ferry system fare well. C train and 4 train riders pay the same fare, East River Ferry and new ferry service riders should too,” said State Sen. Dan Squadron (D-Manhattan/Brooklyn), one of the lead officials on the letter along with Councilman Ben Kallos (D-Manhattan).
A rep for NY Waterway declined to comment.
