Small Businesses: Business Education Day

On July 9th, the Department of Consumer Affairs Commissioner Lorelei Salas will be hosting a Business Education Day with my office. Business Education Days are yearly events held by the Department of Consumer Affairs to provide direct outreach to businesses on the Upper East Side. During the Business Education Day representatives from the Department of Consumer Affairs will be handing out information on business compliance and workers' rights. One of the Department's inspectors will be available to answer questions and provide businesses with advice on the best practices for compliance with the law. The inspector's presence is purely informative - no violations will be issued during the event.
