FRIENDS of the Upper East Historic Districts
Will teach/plans to teach in the following District 5 schools/programs: 4 architecture education programs: Building Fun, Yorkville Immigration, Landmarks & Preservation and our newest offering: Building Fun Basics. Building Fun Basics offers Pre-K/ Kindergarten students the chance to explore architecture through the concepts of color, shape, size and texture. Building Fun is an introduction to the idea that buildings tell us their stories through their materials, use, age and architectural elements.
